I have a Impressive Salt baby ( well he is 16 now ) and he runs barrels. Impressive Post Oak is his name, and he looks almost identical too Salt. He, Bud as we call him as done wonders in the arena too come from a halter background. He has won over $80,000 since he started running barrels. He is the best horse in the world we love him too death. I was just wondering if you or anybody you might know has any of his babies for sale. If you would like I would be glad too send you a picture of him.

Thanks Jaci

Jeanne recently purchased this 3 yr old gelding out of Salt, because she wanted to experience saddle breaking a colt all by herself. He had had very little done with him up to this point, just halter broke and sweet natured, here is what she has been saying about her Salty foal. Congratulations Jeanne, you are doing great!!

05/03/06 Here are some current pics of me riding Topper. Actually they were taken yesterday
afternoon. We loped in the grass field and I opened and closed a gate off him!
:-)
I love my horse!!!

I am the proud owner of Salts Shock N Awe. He is a 3 year old gelding by Impressive
Salt and Coosa Skip Bar. He is a great horse and has impressed everyone that
has met him.He is not only gorgeous, he has been a dream to train and ride.
He always tries to please, and after only 90 days, he has already been on 2
TETRA rides in various regions. He is very people friendly and loves to come
see what I am doing, what a personality!

"I have a really nice buckskin gelding that I bought off of the Childress ranch in Ozona back in 1996. Anyway, I love this horse and ride him all of the time. He didn't have any papers and I didn't know how he was bred. Paul and I asked Jim Bob finally which stud he was out of and he said that it was Impressive Salt!! If that is correct, you truly do have a wonderful stud. This horse of mine is the smoothest traveling horse I have ever ridden. I can ride all day on him and not get tired. He is also very nice looking. He is around 15 hands and would weigh close to 1200 to 1300 pounds. He is big and stout and has good bone. I can ground tie him in the pasture or anywhere. I thought you might like to know that I think my number one gelding is out of your stud. Hope breeding season is going well for you."

"This is a son of Salt that I owned and sold that I made into one of
the nicest heading horses I have ever ridden, he was fast and had alot
of cow. All of the Salt colts that I have ridden have been very good
minded and willing."
