We run a cow-calf operation that consist of Charlois bulls and Angus cows and have been pleased with the growth performance of our calves since using this cross. We also run a commercial meat goat operation,
where we use full blood boer bucks and about In the last few years we have implemented a deer management program to increase the quality of our whitetails. We are already seeing better deer, although this is partially due to an increase in our rainfall this year. Other game on the ranch include turkey, doves and quail. We have also started a small herd of black buck antelope. We raise a few Quarter horses as well. Although

Directions: To the Horse Facility: We are located 10 miles west of Paint Rock on Hwy 380 (going toward San Angelo) From Eden: Take Highway 83 N. (to Ballinger). Turn right on CR 4700 (aka Cemetery Road). If you enter Paint Rock, you've gone too far. Rock entrance reads: Rock Ridge & a W on gate. Go through gate and follow the blue shale road to the house. From San Angelo: Take Highway 380 East. 380 will dead end into Highway 83 in Paint Rock. At the intersection take a right (toward eden). Just outside of town, take the 1st left (which is CR 4700, aka the Cemetery Road) and it's 1st entrance on the left. Rock entrance reads: Rock Ridge & a W on gate. Go through gate and follow the blue shale road to the house. From Ballinger: Take Highway 83 S. (to
Eden). Go through town of Paint Rock & take the 1st left past
Hog Creek. This will be CR 4700 (aka the Cemetery Road). We are
the 1st entrance on the left. Rock entrance reads: Rock Ridge
& a W on gate. Go through gate and follow the blue shale road
to the house.

Rock
ridge ranch is owned by Gary and Joyce Weishuhn (Justin's Parents)
and is located about 30 miles East of San Angelo TX. The ranch
runs along approximately 2 miles of the Concho River. We raise
cattle, meat goats and horses. We have started an intense deer
management program for whitetails and raise a few blackbuck antelope
as well.

horses from time to time. Our horses are calm, smart and like
to work. There is nothing more annoying than riding a bad horse
when you need to get something done. This is why our stallion
and mares are chosen based on conformation and attitude. If you
meet our stallion you'll agree that there aren't many horses with
such a laid back attitude- much less a stallion! We believe there
is no reason to own a bad horse.
