3R Hunting Services LLC. is a company that provides hunting services that are designed around promoting and building a quality hunting program for the land owner and the hunter. 3R Hunting Services LLC. is originated from a ranching background. Justin Weishuhn and Doug Frey are the owners who's experience is drawn from years of ranching and hunting in west central Texas. 3R hunting Services LLC. offers a variety of options for the hunting industry. We offer a quality managed leases for Whitetail deer, doves, quail and turkey. We also offer package hunts for turkey, quail and doves. We are insured company that conducts professional quality work that creates a sound hunting program. In today's day hunting and hunting leases aren't just a handshake deal any longer. There are many pieces to putting together a quality program that benefit both the landowner and the hunter. That's what we do.

What we provide for the landowner is a service that is built around managing the ranch for wildlife quality, fair market value, safety, liability protection, and less hassle.

What we provide the hunter is the same. They are benefited by having sound quality program that is built, managed, and maintained in order to have a lease that they are happy with. We are on the ranches often checking with the leasing group to answer any questions and help them with anything they could need. We fill feeders. check blinds, help with camp house upkeep, etc. Our hunitng groups find that we are there to help them and enjoying having us around to check on their lease, and help with anything they may need.

Currently we have 40,000 acres under deer and wildlife management. All of hunting is centered around managed annual or season leases. We do have package hunts for quail ,doves, and turkey. The current counties of operation are Coke, Concho, Sterling, Tom Green and Scurry Counties.

Our Package Turkey hunts are listed at the bottom of the page. We had a awesome 2009 Turkey season. Our hunters were very pleased we had two ranches that hadn't been spring turkey hunted, that yielded alot of mature birds. We look forward to a great 2010 season. We harvest 58 Mature birds on 27,000 acres. We also hosted a donated hunt to the NWTF. One of those guys completed their grand slam. We had 3 grand slams completed on our hunts.

 

As deer hunting has become another income to ranching, we strive to learn more about whitetail deer and how to manage them in order to produce bigger and better quality deer.

Leases Currently Available:

Trail Ranch:
Annual Hunting Lease

The Trail ranch is a locally famous ranch in Concho County. The ranch is located in central Concho County south of Paint Rock about 6 miles. The ranch has moderate to dense mesquite landscape. There are a few CRP fields that help the quail population. The ranch is 3346 acres. This is the headquarters portion. The total ranch acreage is approxmately 10,000 acres. The ranch is under MLDP 3 for 5 years. There are awesome whitetail on the property. The largest harvested was in 2007 averaged 160 + . We are looking for a corporate or family group of management minded hunters looking for a long term lease with a quality mangement program in place, that is currently yeilding 130 to 160 mature whitetail. We will be adding a new cabin to lease. Water and Electricy is provided. We have a few feeders available and will also provide protein feeders. This ranch will managed under the MLD guidelines. Family and quest are welcome. We are asking $13.00 per acre for the lease. We inted to makesure this is a quailty lease and the leasing group will be satisfied with the ranch.

Wolf Ranch:
Quail and Dove Lease

Wolf Ranch is located in the southwest corner of Scurry County. Wolf ranch is approx. 5000 acres. The ranch has been known for awesome Quail and Dove hunting. We have package hunted this ranch in the past several years and have decided to put together a leasing arrangement with a long term group. We are looking for a group of 7 to 8 hunters to lease the ranch. This will be a full quail season lease. We have also added several dove hunting weekends and duck hunting on the ponds as well. We have included a package spring turkey hunt on another ranch to make this a all around bird lease. This lease will include a hunting cabin. Currently there is no cabin on the ranch. Once we have the group established we will discuss the cabin and what quality and size will be needed. We intend to take care of the hunting group and look forward to a long term leasing arrangement.

Foster Ranch Lease: Available

The Foster Ranch is located 10 miles southwest of Sterling City in Sterling Co. This is an awesome ranch with alot great quality whitetail and a healthy population of quail. The ranch is 7500 acres which we have divied into 3000 acres and 4500 acres. The ranch has not ever been hunted outside of the family. The family has had limited hunting on the ranch. The family does have additional acreage in the vicinity of this ranch and have been taking 110 to 160 class whitetail deer. The ranch also has a great quail population. The ranch comes with nice 3 bedroom 2 bath house, a walk in vault, and protein feeders. This ranch will be available for a long term lease. We are looking for a hunting group or corporation that will be management minded and be willing run a management plan. We are asking $7.50 per acre. This includes the house, vault and protein feeders. The hunting group will be responsible for a mandatory protein feeding program. We will work with the group to help accomplish these goals.

Package Turkey Hunts:

We presently have 27,000 acres of Spring Turkey hunting avaliable. This is in Concho, Coke and Tom Green County. This is awesome spring turkey hunting. The Ranches in Concho county have had limited Spring Turkey hunting in the past. This is the second year that 3R Ranch is offering spring turkey hunting. The Ranch has an excellent population of Turkey Toms. Listed below is the pricing. All hunts are required 50% down at the time of booking.
We have also made available partial or full season leaes. We are trying to flexible to suit each hunting groups needs and expectations.

Package Turkey Hunts: 3 day hunt. unguided, lodging provided. The accommodations are good. Hunters come in on Thursday, and Leave Sunday. This includes 2 Turkey Toms. Priced at $900.00 per package. Or $1,350. fully guided and meals provided.
